Dj SMOOTH MIXX aka southbklynboy born David Lemos in SouthBrooklyn NY on the 12 day of June in 1976 now residing in Miamilakes Fl, has always had the love for music in his blood & heart. Something about the BASS, BEATS & RYTHM togethar has & always been a key that has triggered that passion thanks to a neighbor & friend Dj Damian that introduced him to his first sounds of the low frequency known as BASS. When younger Dj smooth mixx tried to focus on other career areas, went to school for different areas of studies but with that idea & love for the art of DJing, Spinning & Mixing hoping oneday to make a crowd move with the magic of the sounds pouring out the speakers. Realizing that working all the jobs that he has had  in his life from working at fastfood, a local supermarket bakery & a near by hospital also including going to school for massage therapy was not a the way he wanted to live life. changing over to a gov career he figured maybe that would be a way of living that would give him more satisfaction. But its confirmed that the passion that has always been in his mind to this very day  is there for a reason & the reason is to put it to use & expand. Always do whats deep in your heart in life, is the conclusion DJ SMOOTH MIXX has come too. He now knows that with his focus, heart & dedication, releasing the Dj from within him was the best decision of his life. New chapter, New book. Favorite music is House, Freestyle, Hiphop & Salsa.
